Christmas in the Rockies. Local Diners on US 285.

Looking for local diners and comfort food meals as you travel this holiday season? Make a local diner part of your Colorado Rockies highway adventure. We went through US 285 Colorado highway and had lunch at Aspen Park’s DW’s 285 Diner.

We ordered the Tuna on Rye and their famous Club sandwich for authentic home-made flavors. The kids had SPAG & Meatballs and chicken biscuits & gravy plates.  Here are some pics.

Desserts were great too! We ordered hot chocolate, Velvet Cake and Strawberry Cheesecake for our perfect ending!
